The Readers Intro Vlog

I know you can barely hear me. I'm going to do a better video sometime, but right this will have to do!

I'm trying to get the writer to do one as well, but apparently she's camera shy. (insert sarcasm here)
I on the other hand love being able to do any kind of videos. G-rated people.

So journey with me as I talk and ummm my way through this one.

In the beginning it was an idea....

Welcome to A Reader, A Writer, and one Journey aka A RAW journey.

This site came about because two friends (actually one friend the other one kind of went along with it...that other one would be me) wanted a place to share their own warped ideas with people. The love of books, our crazy writing, and whatever else we stick on here. The name itself took awhile to pop into my head. We both were suppose to be thinking of a name right so we're at her apartment (her doodling on a notebook) (me staring blankly at my computer screen) then after a bit we gave up (well she gave up) and turned on One Tree Hill re-runs. :) I've never watched that show. (Oh thanks by the way for getting me addicted to it) Then I typed and there it was staring at me from the screen. Our name.

What is A RAW journey? Easy! It's my acronym for A Reader And a Writer. I came up with a reader and a writer because that's exactly what we are. One is a reader (and self-proclaimed bookaholic) who sucks at writing, although she has her moments and a few stories forgotten. :) The other is a writer (seriously her book is for sale on amazon, or just look to the left), who can't stay focused long enough to read. I'd say we make a pretty interesting pair. (Not to mention we've been friends for 11 years) Then there's our Journey to where ever life make take us. I know inspiring right?  I can totally come up with stuff when ever my creative juices are flowing. Those are her words to be exact...not mine. (No, nasty thoughts. Please!) So here I sit typing this introduction in my own words because I can do that. (I'll be it not well, but I got the site started so I type first. MUAHAHAHA) I'll let her look it over, and add to it if she wants because I guess it is sort of her site as well.
